Our integrated solids handling system is designed to extract oil, nutrient and alkaloid rich feedstock in a continuous closed-loop operation at a rate of 100 lbs/hr, 500 lbs/hr, 1200 lbs/hr and 2000-4500 lbs/hr depending on build size.

PWG SOPs take into account selective solubility, dilution ratios as well as the diversity of feedstock.

The first step in the continuous feed process is the introduction of 100 to 3500 lbs of biomass into a bridge-breaking feed bin.  This ‘surge’ bin has weight monitoring PLCs for correct dosing ratios, residence times, mixing intensities as well as staged compression settings within the PWG reaction conveyor.

The final step of solids handling incorporates the use of a screw press or decanting centrifuge for high efficiency, high throughput solid/liquid separation.

Jacketed and non-jacketed models are available depending on your preferred extraction method. Equipment rated for ambient and/or cold (-20c to -40c) extraction.

Equipment process controls are monitored and defined through centralized PLC automation which can be viewed/monitored within the control room or out on the floor via tablet devices or mobile phone apps
